There are two types of injectable allergy meds. Emergency auto-injectors, such as the EpiPen, are for emergency use for someone with a severe allergic reaction. Allergy Shots are regular injections that help build up a patient’s immunity to an allergen.

Nasal Spray

Nasal spray medications can target congestion and inflammation directly. They often provide faster relief than oral medication for nasal symptoms.

Inhalation Aerosol

Technically also oral, this is the inhaler-style medication that is usually used to treat asthma.
